HOUSE
Located
in the historic village of Segura de la Sierra, Jaen, in
Andalucia, Spain. The house dates from the 17th
Century and has been renovated recently. The stone and
mortar walls formed some of the ancient arab walls of the village.
Wooden beamed ceilings and coffered and terracotta floors. A complete
renovation of the house, including new plumbing, flooring, electrical
and heating systems has been done in 2000. The roof is also new.
The renovation has been done respecting all original details. It
has two facades with one entrance on each side. The surface of 200
square metres is distributed in four levels. The ample
entrance hall with stoned flooring and fountain can be used as a
patio, particulary in summer. Three living areas, two bedrooms with
bathrooms, kitchen with dinning area, laundry room and toilet, two
fireplaces, built-in closets and gas heating. Panoramic views of
the mountains. The house can be divided into two separated apartments.
